NIGERIAN FOOTBALLER COMPLETE MOVE TO GLASGOW RANGERS

Former player of the Nigerian Flying Eagles team, Nnamdi Ofoborh has reportedly finalized his move to Scotland, joining the league’s Champions Glasgow Rangers. The player is leaving English club AFC Bournemouth who only recently regained promotion to the top tier of English football following their campaign in the Championship last season. Bournemouth recently climbed into the English Premier League after the fantastic campaign they had in the Championship last season, but Ofoborh was not around to play a role in their achievements last season.

The 21-year-old star already struck an agreement with Rangers back in February after insisting that he would not sign a new contract with the Cherries. Although he did not play as many games as he would have wanted, after being restricted to only six appearances for Bournemouth two seasons ago. His lack of game time at the Cherries was the major reason for his decision to not extend his contract at the club.

The Nigerian footballer was sent out on loan last season to join League One side Wycombe Wanderers where he was a star performer for the club. He was able to build up on the 6 appearances he had at Bournemouth the previous season and played in as many as 25 games, during which he scored two goals.

Ofoborh was a key player for Wycombe last season as he helped them secure proportion to the English Championship last season following his needed participation in the final. He has since taken to Instagram via his official account to thank his former club for their part in his development and also added that he is currently looking forward to playing a significant role for Rangers next season.

Rangers will be looking to build up on their achievements last season by staging a fight for title victory once again in the coming campaign.
